UK trailer and release date: Bosch: Legacy season 2
If you’re a fan of smart, tough, meat ‘n’ potatoes crime procedurals, you’re probably all over this one, but just in case: the second season of Bosch: Legacy is about to hit, bringing with it all the sun-drenched LA noir flavour you know and love.
When is Bosch: Legacy season 2 being released in the UK?
Bosch: Legacy season 2 debuts in the UK on October 20 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
What is Bosch: Legacy season 2 about?
Adapted from the long-running series of novels by acclaimed crime author Michael Connelly, and following up the seven-season, inexplicably cancelled (although we’ve heard unconfirmed rumours…) Bosch, the series follows the exploits of the titular detective Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch (veteran character actor Titus Welliver), now retired from the LAPD and working as a private detective. Whereas the first season adapted Connelly’s books The Wrong Side of Goodbye and The Night Fire, this second serving draws on The Crossing, which saw Bosch team up with Connelly’s other iconic character, Mickey Heller, aka The Lincoln Lawyer. Given that’s a Netflix series, we’ll have to assume some changes are being made.
The cast of Bosch: Legacy season 2
In addition to the always watchable Welliver, we have Mimi Rogers as lawyer Honey “Money” Chandler, Madison Lintz as Madeline “Maddie” Bosch, now an LAPD rookie, and Stephen Chang as Maurice “Mo” Bassi, Harry’s tech guy. One of the cool things about the OG series was that it drew on a deep bench of brilliant character actors to fill out its ensemble, including roughly half the casts of both Deadwood and The Wire, so while full cast details have yet to be announced, expect to do the DiCaprio point-and-snap a lot when you cue up this one.

Why we’re excited about Bosch: Legacy season 2
Look, “prestige” TV is all well and good, but the simple pleasures of watching a smart, tough, morally upright investigator run down a range of despicable villains season by season should not be underestimated.
