News: Transformers 4 to feature Dinobots, first trailer for Kill Your Darlings and more

Paramount Pictures has named the fourth baby in Michael Bay’s Transformers series, and it’ll probably have dinobots in it too. Transformers: Age of Extinction is due for release mid-2014, and in a recent interview with Beijing News, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed the existence of the dinobots – that is, if this wonky Google-translated version of the dialogue is to be believed (via tformers.com):

Beijing News: Allegedly this will add five Dinobots role? (Squad leader rex “cable” Triceratops “iron slag” Brontosaurus “mud” Stegosaurus “Howl” pterodactyl “darts”)

Lorenzo: I can not disclose the specifics, but it can be sure that the machine will give the audience join the dinosaurs bring new excitement. After seeing the film the audience will find that this will be a greater integration of various aspects, such as the previously separate human and car people will do with integration.

So, umm… yeah. Dinobots, right?

James Cameron Loves Gravity

After having his mind blown with a screening of Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity, James Cameron had nothing but praise for the galactic drama. His words in a recent interview with Variety included poster-worthy quotes like:

“I was stunned, absolutely floored,”

…and…

“It’s the best space film ever done,”

High praise indeed from the director of Aliens and Avatar.

Things That Will Happen

Very cool things are happening for the awesome Jared Harris (Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows). Not only will he re-team with filmmaker Guy Ritchie for the feature version of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (via Deadline) but he will also play the lead in the upcoming Poltergeist remake (also via Deadline).

In less impressive news, Horrible Bosses 2 has found a new director in Sean Anders (That’s My Boy, Sex Drive) after Seth Gordon, director of the original, dropped out last month. (via Collider)
