Where were you when Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace first hit cinemas in 1999? How about the days leading up to that film’s release? For a number of die-hard Star Wars fans – hyped on anticipation for another chapter in the sci-fi saga phenomenon – those days were spend in lawn chairs and tents waiting for the moment they could purchase a ticket. For American filmmakers Michael J. Boccieri and W Thomas Grové, it was an opportunity to document one such line in the Cineplex Odeon Mc Clurg Court Theatre in Chicago.
