It’s National Cinema Day! Here’s what you need to know
On Saturday 3 September, hundreds of UK cinemas will band together for National Cinema Day—a celebration of the big screen experience. It should come as no surprise that we fully endorse this occasion.
Participating cinemas are encouraging all moviegoers to head out to their local movie theatre for a single, double, triple or (for the bold) sextuple feature this Saturday. To sweeten the deal, many venues are offering discounted movie tickets as low as £3.
Hey UK! On Sept 3rd, more than 550 cinemas offer £3 tickets for all shows. in celebration of #NationalCinemaDay2022. I have very fond memories of similar days in the late 90's and once saw 6 movies in single day. But it's okay just to see one too. Enjoy!!!https://t.co/qweWLyePew

Many of these will include big new releases and small indie darlings as well as beloved classics. Aching to see Jordan Peele’s Nope again? A couple pounds will get you in. Wanting to know why critics are raving about The Quiet Girl? You can see it for chump change. Looking to ugly-cry your way through your childhood favourite from the ’80s? That’s right; E.T.‘s returning to the big-screen for this, the most glorious of cinema days.
To find your nearest participating cinema, head on over to the National Cinema Day site or check your favourite cinemas over at Flicks.
