How to watch Emily in Paris season 4 in the UK

Emily in Paris season 4 is streaming in the UK exclusively on Netflix from August 15. Well, the first five episodes are, at any rate. Part 2 hits on September 12.

What is Emily in Paris season 4 about?

We continue to follow nascent American marketing Maven Emily Cooper as she builds a life for herself in Paris, with all the attendant drama and romantic complications one might expect. The story follows on from season three’s cliffhanger finale, which saw (deep breath) Camille and Gabriel’s wedding blow up after Gabriel’s love for Emily became public, Camille getting pregnant with Gabriel despite being in love with Sofia; and Alfie dumping Emily after realising he’d always be her second pick.

This season sees our newly single heroine dealing with the fallout from all the above, plus whatever new complications come her way. And if you can’t parse that synopsis, we can only point you towards the first three seasons, because it’s all a bit too tangled to unpack here.

The cast of Emily in Paris season 4

Lily Collins is Emily Cooper; Lucien Laviscount is Alfie, an English banker and her love interest; Lucas Bravo is chef Gabriel, Emily’s downstairs neighbour and other love interest; Camille Razat is champagne heiress and perpetual complication Camille; Ashley Park is Emily’s bestie Mindy; and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is Sylvie, Emily’s acerbic boss; with Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery, and William Abadie in supporting roles.

Why we’re excited about Emily in Paris season 4

Emily in Paris is one of Netflix’s biggest successes in recent years, and it’s not hard to see why. It’s a pitch-perfect romantic confection with a winning cast that knows when to pile on the melodrama and when to hit real emotional beats. Sure, it’s a fantasy, but it’s a good one.
