Great ‘Man of Steel’ Featurette, the Length of the ‘Furious 6’ Runway and more movie news

As our rolling excitement for Man of Steel continues to not gather moss, Deadline perpetuates it further by pointing us to this very cool spoiler-free Behind the Scenes. In it, the cast and crew talk about filming with only one camera, Superman wearing his underwear on the inside (what!?), and a different Lois Lane.

It’s 13 minutes long, so you might want to save a lunch break for it. Or spend 13 minutes pretending you’re doing work. We don’t mind; we’re not your boss.

Benicio Del Toro to play a lead role in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

Marvel’s newest CG-heavy superhero franchise Guardians of the Galaxy has found another one of its lead in Oscar-winning actor Benicio Del Toro. No details about his role has surfaced yet (he might be Thanos for all we know), but his character is set for more than one Marvel film.

Just as a side-note; has anyone else noticed how much Benicio looks like Jemaine Clement? Seriously, it’s kinda blowing our minds right now.

An inside look at the ‘Only God Forgives’ Sound Studio

For anyone who adored the Drive soundtrack (we’d like to think that’s most of you), you’re probably interested in the inner workings of the score for Nicholas Winding Refn’s upcoming Only God Forgives. Is it an impressively massive studio? Does it sprawl with musical equipment?

Not really. In fact, Badass Digest shows exactly how ‘not really’ it really is with this image of composer Cliff Martinez’s setup: a MacBook pro and a keyboard in a hotel room in Thailand.

Someone actually calculated the length of the ‘Furious 6’ runway

Using the power of maths, Empire has given an educated estimate of the length of the absurdly long runway featured during the climax of Fast and Furious 6. According to this sexy infographic, it’s approximately 45kms long.

Yep, 45kms.
