After making his debut with Safety Not Guaranteed, Colin Treverrow is going straight into the deep end of the cinematic budget pool with his next directing gig Jurassic Park 4. According to Deadline, Universal Picture nabbed Treverrow to helm the third sequel to the franchise, with Rise of the Planet of the Apes writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver handling script duties.
Treverrow low-budget time-travel-pondering rom-com was a critical darling and audience fave at Sundance and pretty much everywhere else. Here’s hoping Mark Duplass will get a starring role.
