Vaathi (Sir)

Indian action-drama starring Dhanush (Thiruchitrambalam) as an elementary school teacher who decides to take a stand against the privatisation of education after seeing its effects on his young students.

Directed and written by Rang De's Venky Atluri, Vaathi was simultaneously filmed in the Tamil and Telugu languages, with the latter version being released as Sir. Several details were changed in Sir, including the names of the main character and the school he teaches at. Samyuktha Menon (Kaduva) co-stars.
