Dutch thriller about a man seaching obsessively for his missing girlfriend who disappeared from a roadside rest area.
Rex (Gene Bervoets) spends years trying to find his partner Saskia (Johanna ter Steege) after she never returned to their car from a petrol station. After a public appeal, he's contacted by someone claiming to be the abductor who tells Rex he'll share everything about Saskia's disappearance—if Rex accompanies him on a drive.
In 1993 director George Sluizer remade his film in English, starring Jeff Bridges, Kiefer Sutherland and Sandra Bullock.
