Stephen Baldwin is an Australian missionary who was alleged to be illegally proselytising while in India in this faith-based, true story drama.

Tired of roughing it in late 1990s rural India, journalist Manav Banerjee (Sharman Joshi) moves with his pregnant wife to Orissa seeking opportunity and a better life. When speculation mounts that Australian missionary Graham Staines (Baldwin) is illegally converting leprosy patients, Manav agrees to investigate undercover for the newspaper.
