French comedy, and winner of the Cesar (French Oscar) for Best New Work, about 14-year-old Herve: a teenager completely overwhelmed by his sexual urges.
Herve's (Vincent Lacoste) life has one focus: finding a girl who’ll agree to go out with him. Despite consistent rejection, he’s undeterred. One day – completely out of the blue – the pretty Aurore (Alice Trémolière) shows interest. He attempts to navigate his way through teenage politics and romance. Around him are some colourful characters: Camel – a heavy metal fan who shares his fantasies; Benjamin and Meryl – complex and mixed-up teens; Loic, Anas and Mohamed, young alpha males; Mahmoude, the strong-headed one; Megane and Sadia – passive girls who seem to go through life in slow motion; Laura, the pretty one, fine-tuning their power over boys and, of course, Aurore.
