The Cure

Independent, New Zealand-made biological thriller about a young researcher (Antonia Prebble, Outrageous Fortune) who makes a horrifying discovery about her pharmaceutical company: they developed a cure for cancer many years ago. She goes rogue, determined to release the cure to the world but soon finds herself hunted by the company she works for, threatened by the potential loss of their chemotherapy drug sales.

This is the feature debut of Weta-veteran David Gould, a visual effects director on The Lord of the Rings, King Kong, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and The Adventures of Tintin.
