Opéra de Paris: The Barber of Seville

Rossini's comic opera, part of the Opéra National de Paris 2014/2015 season of productions, filmed live at historic Opera Bastille and screened in cinemas worldwide.

"Rossini composed this masterpiece in just a few weeks, borrowing the overture and certain airs from his own serious and comic works. All of the remarkable ensembles, however, are original. In the finale of the first act, Rossini combines multiple styles and interlinks duos, trios, quintets and sextets with stupefying virtuosity.
