In 1935, Indy crash lands in India and, along with nightclub singer Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) and a Chinese kid called Short Round, finds himself embroiled in a small village’s quest to retrieve the stolen Shankara Stones. His journey takes him to Pankot Palace, where he uncovers an evil cult and child slavery. Considered by many to be the weakest in the series, due to a treasure with less relevance (a view endorsed by creator George Lucas) and a tone which veered between too dark and too ‘kiddie’, Temple nonetheless features some cracking scenes, such as the breakneck mine cart ride as our heroes escape from the Temple.
