Friends with Kids

Actress and writer Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein) makes her directing debut with this comedy ensemble, starring alongside Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) as two best mates who decide to have a baby while just remaining friends. Co-stars Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd and Megan Fox.

Jason (Scott) and Julie (Westfeldt) are best mates and the only singles in their group of pals. As their paired-up friends start families, the two decide to have a kid of their own while keeping their partnership platonic. Over the next few years the new arrivals change the lives of all the couples, with Jason and Julie no exception. While their unconventional relationship may have allowed them to be better parents than any of their friends expected, they still face unique challenges, not least of which is coping with dating other people.
