Friends By Chance

Italian buddy comedy about a 22-year-old slacker and 85-year-old poet that somehow form an unlikely connection.

"Alessandro (rising star Andrea Carpenzano) hangs out with his equally aimless friends and torments his father with his lack of ambition. At the same time, he is involved in a secret affair with the mother of one of his best friends. Giorgio (Giuliano Montaldo) is a 'forgotten poet' with Alzheimer’s disease who lives alone in a flat with very little company. Alessandro reluctantly takes on the paid job of accompanying Giorgio on his afternoon strolls, and though the two could not be more different, gradually they form a bond.
