Elsa & Fred (2005)

A story about two elderly people who, at the end of the road, discover that it's never too late to love.

Elsa is 82-years-old and for the past 60 years has dreamt of being in the Fontana di Trevi scene of Fellini's La Dolce Vita, playing the role that Anita Ekberg made famous.

Alfredo (Fred) is a bit younger, but, after losing his wife, moves into a smaller apartment building. Here he meets Elsa, who bursts into his life like a whirlwind. Elsa and Fred decide that the time they have left to live is precious, and go about enjoying every moment of it.
