Beyond the Horizon

A teenage boy's (newcomer Luc Bruchez) family life is uprooted during the European heatwave of 1976 in this Swiss-Belgian drama co-starring Laetitia Casta (The Ideal Palace).

Set on the family's Swiss farm, Gus's (Bruchez) summer begins as usual - reading comics and running wild with his pal Mado. But he watches as his mother slowly becomes uncharacteristically distant, all while his father battles to fight back the damage from the drought.
