Bee Season

11-year-old Eliza (Flora Cross, Margot at the Wedding) is the invisible element of her family unit until she sparks a revolution in that dynamic when she wins a spelling bee. Her dad, a religious studies professor, sees the opportunity as an answer to his own crisis of faith and pours everything into helping his daughter win. Now preparing for the National Spelling Bee, Eliza looks on as a new secret of her family's hidden turmoil seems to be revealed with each new word she spells.

Based on the novel of the same name by Myla Goldberg, Bee Season also stars Richard Gere and Juliette Binoche as Eliza's parents and Max Minghella as her studious brother.
