In this fantasy drama from writer-director Tobias Nolle (Rene) a lonely private investigator (Georg Friedrich, Wild) lives life through the extensive collection of surveillance tapes that he obsessively watches. With the help of a mysterious woman he discovers an imaginary universe which may allow him to break out of his isolated existence.
Following the death of his father, Aloys Adorn's cloistered existence is threatened when he wakes to find his camera and tapes have been stolen. He is soon contacted by a woman who vows to return the tapes if Aloys will try 'telephone walking' with her, using his imagination as their only connection.
