Roy Scheider plays the Fosse-equivalent Joe Gideon whose excessive life in show business taught him the perils of pushing yourself too hard. Filled with Fosse’s legendary song and dance choreography, the film also won four Academy Awards including Best Art Direction and Costume Design.
