About Regent Cinema Marple
Contact & About
This local independent single screen has been showing films since 1911. Over the years, the Maple has been through various iterations, including serving as a meeting hall, a chapel, a coffee room, and a library. It was reopened as a cinema in 1969 and has been screening films uninterrupted until a pause during the 2020 pandemic. This local staple has 218 seats spread over stalls and a circle. The programme favours new releases of the arthouse variety, with occasional family programming.
