About Kiln Cinema Kilburn
Contact & About
This isn’t some draughty bolt-on to an arts centre. Filmgoers get well-padded seats and full spec DCI-compliant digital projection and sound, plus the full theatre experience. There’s also a la carte menus in the Kiln Kitchen, a joyous scrum at the bar for craft spirits, local beers and quality wines, and a bohemian pavement terrace. Community has been at the heart of the theatre’s offering since it revamped the Friendly Society of Foresters headquarters to provide accessible theatre for Kilburn’s poorest. That legacy continues with £5-£10 tickets for world cinema, festivals and Q&A screenings with iconic partners such as BFI and DocHouse. Commendably accessible, with weekly parent/baby, subtitled and hard-of-hearing screenings, the space is also used for fundraisers, and showcases for young creatives.
