About The Flavel
Contact & About
Dartmouth’s Flavel Centre boasts a fascinating programme of current film releases and special screenings alongside an impressive live programme. Outside mainstream movies, there’s a particular emphasis on local interests – 2021 featured Mayflower 400 events as part of the commemoration programme dedicated to the famous ship’s sailing from nearby Plymouth – as well as music and stage onscreen. The Flavel is also home to a library, hosts exhibitions and special events for children, and has a decent bar and café. Largely staffed by volunteers, it has earned a deserved place as an indispensable, high-quality arts venue serving the community.
