About Everyman Cinema Hampstead
Contact & About
Everyman’s first cinema has been woven into London’s cultural fabric since its opening in 1933. A favourite of many cultural icons – John Gielgud, Peter O’Toole and Melvyn Bragg were all regulars in their time – the building itself is mentioned in Donovan’s song ‘Hampstead Incident’. Whether Donovan would have ordered a passionfruit daiquiri in the foyer bar, a Spielburger in the adjoining restaurant, or a bottle of rioja served to his plush sofa during screenings we can only speculate. All three are an option for filmgoers today, as is private hire of the 120- or 70-seater auditoriums or the intimate 20-capacity upper lounge space.
