About Crouch End Picturehouse
Contact & About
It may have only opened its doors in 2015, but the Crouch End Picturehouse has some serious cinematic heritage. Housed inside a refurbished modernist factory block constructed in the late 1950s, this stylish north London venue stands on the same ground as the old Picture House Cinema – built in 1911, rebranded as the Plaza in 1929, and demolished during the Second World War after being damaged in an air raid. Today, the five-screen cinema offers modern moviegoers the chance to watch a mix of blockbusters and indie flicks in relaxed surroundings, with a popular café-bar serving snacks, drinks and meals from brunch to dinner.
