About Chapter Cardiff
Contact & About
Since the 1970s, Chapter has been bringing the arts to the people of Cardiff as well as giving artists the opportunity to create and promote their work. Much of this dedication to culture has been through supporting and promoting filmmakers (on screen and in its 30 creative studios), by using its two cinemas to show a blend of current big releases and indie arthouse productions, and to stage film festivals.
The Café Bar serves food from breakfast to dinner, has a beer garden and all-gender toilets. And, in a splendid move, it serves roasts from midday on Sundays, allowing visitors to replicate the British tradition of dozing off in front of a film full of potatoes and roast beef.
Getting Here, Map & Parking
If you're the bussing type, catch the 17 or 18 direct. These stop directly at the centre, arriving every 5 minutes from Cardiff Central.
If you're on bike, there are covered racks outside the cinema and a Next Bike Share Station on Market Place.
There's a free carpark behind the cinema. If that's full, there are Cardiff Council carparks nearby and some free parking bays on Market Place.
