Originally built in 1910, The Palace is one of the oldest and most picturesque cinemas still operating in Britain. Offering afternoon matinees with the kids, or night shows for an evening date, The Palace is unmatched in charm and comfort. Both screens are equipped with Dolby Digital Cinema Projectors with surround sound and infra-red hearing assistance, audio description and subtitling facilities. Both screens also have a number of double sofa seats. The theatre serves a large selection of confectionery, popcorn, and soft drinks, as well as freshly ground Tchibo coffee, hot chocolate, and various teas, which can be enjoyed in the Rendezvous Cafe/Lounge.
