After pop-up al-fresco events in Camden and elsewhere, Backyard Cinema touched down in Wandsworth’s Ram Quarter, occupying the labyrinthine TV studios where David Bowie and The Beatles once performed. In the summer the two screens are split into Miami Beach and LA Nights environments; in the winter, visitors are whisked away into Narnia-esque snow kingdoms and winter night gardens, with cosy beanbags to sink into while enjoying new releases or old favourites. With plenty for families and kids, pre-show performances add to the all-bases-nailed vibe. Cocktails, craft beers, artisan pizza, quality burgers, plant-based ice cream and more are available.
